The Environment Agency has developed a new flood widget which you may wish to add to your websites to show flood warnings. Further details and instructions can be found in the attached document.
You’ll find lots of information about flooding on the council website too which you are welcome to link to your websites. The main webpage can be found at www.wyre.gov.uk/flooding and this contains our emergency flood plan.
There’s also information online about Wyre’s flood forum and generic emergency response plan.
Finally, members of the community can sign up to receive council news by email and information alerts by text message at www.wyre.gov.uk/register. Any assistance in encouraging residents to sign up would be gratefully received.
